Chris Benjamin
Chris Benjamin is a trial attorney who practices in the areas of personal injury, traffic law, and criminal defense. Besides being an attorney, he also served as the municipal judge in Garden City, Missouri. Chris has handled over a hundred bench trials in both the greater Kansas City Missouri area and Cass County Missouri. He was selected as a “Rising Star” by the Missouri and Kansas Super Lawyers publication in 2010, 2011, 2013, 2014, and 2015. Chris was also selected as a Top 40 under 40 member of the National Trial Lawyers organization.
Chris’ past professional work includes serving as Chief of Staff to the Speaker of the Missouri House of Representatives and serving as General Counsel to the Majority Floor Leader of the Missouri House of Representatives. He has even served on the staff of the Missouri Senate. Chris is a past member of both the Cass County Regional Medical Center Board of Trustees and the Cass County Emergency Services Board.
Eric Ree
Eric received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from UMKC in 2008, and graduated from the University of Missouri School of Law in May 2017, where he gained experience in tax and transactional matters. Eric went on to work in civil litigation as a creditor’s rights attorney with Faber and Brand in Columbia, Missouri before accepting a position in his native Cass County as a public defender working on behalf of the public in the county he grew up in. Eric believes that this background uniquely suits the needs of our clients and looks forward to utilizing his experiences on-behalf of those we represent. Eric currently resides in Prairie Village, Kansas with his fiancé, Hugo Hernandez, and loves spending time with family, friends and traveling in his free time.
